Why screening is so damn important!!!

*Between 1999 and 2018, 75 women between the ages of 18 and 58 were strangled to death in Chicago. By the end of 2019, the police had only solved 24 cases. And the remaining 51 are more alike than different.
*All the women were found dumped after being killed in Chicago’s South and West Side neighborhoods, usually in abandoned buildings or alleyways. About 47 percent had a history of sex work and about three quarters were Black.
*Still an open and active series of events that have NOT been solved and still at large!!!

The Long Island serial killer is an unidentified suspected serial killer who is believed to have murdered between 10 and 16 people over a period of nearly of nearly 20 years. Killer is still at large!!!

The agency believes there are currently close to 300 “highway serial killers.” FACT : The estimated 300 highway serial killers, conservatively represents only 0.0075% of the professional truck driver population. (Based on 4 Million Active CDL drivers).
*group of truckers from east coast all the way down to Nevada...let that sink in.
*TRUCK-DRIVING SERIAL KILLERS AND THE DEADLY FREEWAYS THEY HUNT
*It really is the recipe for the perfect crime — thousands of miles of open road, truckers who are never in one place for long and victims law enforcement views as disposable. It’s why such big-rig murderers have been able to hide — and drive — in plain sight for decades.
*The bodies of missing and murdered women were being found beneath bridges and overpasses, inside cheap motels and along highway off-ramps.
For decades, no one had noticed the pattern of murdered women being dumped along the highways.
STILL TO THIS DAY THIS IS AN ACTIVE DEATH TOLL AND VERY A HUGE SCARE FOR US!!!
Forgotten women: The overlooked victims of serial killers
According to a recent study, 22 percent of confirmed U.S. serial murder victims between 1970 and 2009 were known prostitutes. And those numbers are climbing—over the last decade, 43 percent of victims were sex workers.

*Sex workers as a group are one of the more common targets in serial homicide, yet the most likely to go unsolved. Part of the reason for this is the difficulty in linking individual crime scenes to a series, especially in those series where offenders not only target sex worker victims but also target non-sex worker victims. Inconsistencies in both victim targeting and behaviors engaged in across series add to the difficulties of linking and solvability in these types of crimes.
*SW lives are susceptible to become a Serialists prey, as they face routine types of violence. 81% of women outdoors reported violence from the hands of clientele. Of these 33% had been beaten, 30% threatened with arms, 25% choked, 27% (g)raped and 9% stabbed. Between 45%-75% of SW report violence of some type each year.
*LEO do NOT prioritize searches for missing or harmed.
SW lives are not valued like the lives of missing middle class white women!!!
WE are NOT scum of the earth. WE are not filth to be swept out into the wind. WE MATTER.
